Step 1: Request
Request a quote for verification by contacting BEECSA via telephone, e-mail or website. Alternatively, complete the Verification Request Form and email to admin@beecsa.co.za.
Step 2: Acceptance
You will be sent a quote and Verification Agreement for your perusal. Acceptance of the quote is confirmed by signing the agreement.
Step 3: Deposit
Once you have signed the agreement accepting the quote, an invoice will be sent to you for the total fee for the verification, 70% of which must be paid upfront before the verification process begins.
Step 4: Preparation
You will then be forwarded a checklist for collating the information requirements needed for us to evaluate and score the B-BBEE status of your company. An analyst will guide you on the requirements. A pre-audit meeting will be arranged to discuss and collect outstanding information.
Step 5: Verification On-Site Assessment
Once all the information has been received and verified, BEECSA conducts an on-site assessment at the company premises where Shareholders, Directors, Management and staff are interviewed and the records are examined to validate the information received, prior to the certificate being issued. The provisional scorecard result will be discussed by the Analyst at the close of the on-site assessment.
Step 6: Final Payment
Once the verification process is complete, you will be required to settle the 30% outstanding balance of the total fee for the verification, which must be paid before the Verification Certificate is issued.
Step 7: Final Certification/Report
Upon payment of the remaining fee, the final Verification Certificate and Report will be printed, signed, scanned, and a colour copy will be sent to the client. Alternatively, the certificate will be signed electronically in accordance with the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA).
